Private Coaching Program

Our coaching service is designed for engineers, managers, CTOs, and team leaders working for organizations of various sizes who have a specific need for help on a single issue or project.  Michael Pate is the exclusive service provider for those who enroll in this program.

Coaching Program Objective

• Meet the needs of our clients for a high value consulting relationship with an expert in the field
• Provide for short term, fast delivery assistance on high value decisions
• Offer consulting access that is available and flexible in the delivery to meet client needs
• Provide technical assistance to jump start projects
• Provide technical assistance to quickly review projects
• Use modern telecommunications devices and methods to eliminate travel and provide technical assistance when needed worldwide
• Provide investment options of paying with corporate or personal funds

How It Works

• The coaching program runs for 30 days
• Payments must be made in advance
• Discounts for multiple months as follows: 5% for two months, 10% for three months, 15% for four or more months

Some Typical Program Participants

• Optical engineer has developed a LED system and needs help looking at alternative approaches and solutions
• Optical engineer needs help developing a 5-year action plan to map out a plan of action to develop the skills they need
  for their personal growth and also to match the companies technology roadmap
• Optical engineer has been asked to develop a technical specification for a new instrument and needs a jump start on
  developing a low, medium, and high risk versions of the specification
• Project manager needs review of an illumination system specification prior to launching a new design project
• Marketing manager need to compare new product launch and develop marketing documentation to explain benefit to user
  of enhanced performance parameters
• Inventor has received notice from patent office of prior art and need an expert opinion on prior art difference from their
  application and claims
• New product development team need to define critical development areas and define boundaries of investigation and inventions
• CEO wants to discuss different business strategies for teaming opportunity with large corporations for his high value technology
• Sales and Marketing VP having trouble marketing new technical service to users and wants to brainstorm different marketing,
  pricing, and teaming strategies
• CTO is asked to investigate new technology area or optics or displays and needs assistance in understanding critical skills,
  technology, and competitive boundaries and how her company compares to players in this industry
• Supply chain manager has been tasked with new technology supplier and they need some technical support on the supplier
  investigations, education on the correct questions to ask, vendor ranking assistance, and occasional technical backup an
  discussions with vendors (costs for vendor visits billed separately)

Program A—$3000 for each 30-day interval

Two 30-minute phone calls and five emails per week during business hours (in US, International hours by mutual agreement) and review of mail and express type mail documents included.  Calls and emails are not cumulative and cannot be pushed into future weeks. 

 

Program B—$5000 for each 30-day interval

As many phone calls, emails, letters, express mail documents as necessary and extended hours are provided in the evenings and to prepare for early Monday meetings.

How to Enroll in the Coaching Programs

Send us a brief description of your company, position, your responsibilities, and what your current needs are from enrolling in the private coaching program.  We will contact you to discuss your current needs to ensure that we can meet your objectives.  If we can meet your objectives we will then discuss the starting schedule and contact times that are best.  We do sign fair mutual NDAs so that you can protect your IP and be free to discuss only the necessary confidential details to reach your goals.  Once payment is made we will then schedule the initial phone conversation and get started.  Please email your initial information to: mpate (at) oscintl . com
